Hosted ScrewTurn Wiki Survey
December 7th, 2011 by Dario Solera | Filed under Community. No, we don’t offer a hosted version of ScrewTurn Wiki, but we might in the future. If you could help us understand if and how that would work for both you and us, it would be very nice of you. How? Simply answer this very short survey: http://goo.gl/4yt2d.
Obviously, any comment, suggestion or critique is more than welcome.

We’re a small non-profit and would be interested in a hosted Wiki for use by our internal employees – just a way for them to ask questions, get answers, and then capture all of it for ongoing reference.
We’re a midsize management company for charter schools and a hosted solution like this would be great for collaboration. Not just as a reference, but something our teachers could continually keep updated. One of the first target operational sectors would be curricula. We’d like to capture lots of comments about the efficacy of various books, etc. We’d like it to be a fairly social tool, and we’d want to help integrate it with an internal database of curricula that we maintain – at minimum link it and export our data for pages. Other sectors that we’d bring online are course descriptions, educational approach philosophies, and modern information about the science of education.
Tough question. I answered no, but I also know that my knowledge isn’t shared by a majority of the small and medium businesses out there who may find this useful. With companies competing for their share of direct advertising space (eg. Facebook), you may be able to get away with marketing it as an ‘advertisement free zone’ Storage and CPU Cycle cost is way down, and STW doesn’t require a lot of bandwidth (unless uploading or downloading large files) I like the idea for $60/yr(US) or less, but I would also be looking for a much more robust search engine (looks like you have that in v4) and less quirky editors.
When will STW 4 be finally released?
I intend tu use it for the school-WEB site of my wife.
I thought it should be available on start of 2012.
Then in Q1
Now we are in Q2
…
Would be nice to have a deadline which is real!
